Taglieri-Noble Wedding: April 16, 2011 - Willowdale Estate, Topsfield MA

I'm so excited to post the pictures from Katie & Alyssa's wedding. We met with them to discuss their ideas for wedding flowers a few months ago, and they told us that they wanted rainbow flowers. Each bridesmaid would have a different color (and matching shoes) and the two brides would have all the colors in their bouquets. Everything turned out great, and so did the pictures. All photography done by Aubrey B. Greene Photography.

Murray-Bracy Wedding: March 26, 2011 - Hawthorne Hotel

Samantha and Nick had a beautiful wedding in March, and we were thrilled to be a part of it. The color palette was blush and white, and we used roses and hydrangea for the bride's and bridesmaids' bouquets, and white and blush roses for the groom's and groomsmen's boutonnieres.

Summer Wedding- Bright Pink and Orange Roses

We did this wedding a couple of years ago, but I wanted to post it now as inspiration if you're planning your wedding for the summer. We used pink and orange roses, with bright green hypericum berries. The bridesmaids wore black cocktail dresses, and the contrast was amazing.

Tips to keep your flowers fresh and beautiful!

Drooping or wilting flowers might not be your worst nightmare, but they certainly are for us. When your florist delivers your wedding flowers, they should look great, but we want to make sure they look great for the entire day! So we've put together a few tips to help you out. Most of these tips might seem like common sense, but you'd be surprised to find out how many clients ignore them and then wonder why they're flowers don't look so great by the end of the night.

What to do before your wedding: Here are a few things you can do when you design and order your flowers.
  1. Try to order flowers that are hardy, and in season- tulips, peonies and stephanotis are gorgeous flowers, but might not last. Roses, most lilies, gladioli and carnations are much sturdier and will hold up to warmer temperatures.

Mardi Gras Party - 2011

We put together a couple of small arrangements for a Mardi Gras Party this week. We used bright yellow and purple roses, and decorated the table with beads and masks. They looked beautiful, festive and a little bit silly, but it was Mardi Gras, after all!

Putting Together Wedding Flowers

Putting together the flowers for a wedding or any special event is no small task, so we thought it would be interesting to share some photos showing how we put together flowers for a wedding.

Our Wedding- August, 7 2010- Westin, Copley Place

Its several months after the fact, but we wanted to post some pictures of the arrangements we did for our own wedding back in August. We used white roses and purple calla lilies. The white roses gave the wedding a classic and traditional feel, and the purple calla lilies provided a fun, modern "pop" to each of the arrangements.
