Spring Is Here!!!

There may be new snow on the ground, but its officially spring! Here are some great flower ideas for your spring wedding:

Spring is a great time to make use of seasonal flowers. Daises and daffodils are iconic spring flowers which can be incorporated into both elegant and informal bouquets.

Pink is a classic color choice for any spring wedding, and many different types of flowers are available in shades of pink. Garden roses, peonies, calla lilies, and roses, are all great options for a pink spring bouquet. Pink snowberries and other unique foliage work great as accent your bouquet, and can even be used by themselves for attendants' bouquets.

Just because its spring, doesn't mean you have to use a pastel color palette. Calla lilies and tulips come in deep shades of orange and yellow which make beautiful and bright bouquets.

And don't forget about the boutonnieres- you don't have to stick to white roses. A pink ranunculus makes a great boutonniere. Also think about using daffodils or calla lilies.

Don't stop with the bouquets! Use flowers for your wedding favors. You can set up a floral market display, and allow each guest to take home a small bunch of flowers. Or put out baskets of bulbs for each of your guests to plant: when the flower blooms, they'll think about you and your wedding. Flower seeds are another great option and come in cute decorative tins. These are available at Beau-coup.

Lastly, when you're sending invitations, think about tying in your floral themes. These invitations from Wedding Paper Divas incorporate beautiful and delicate spring flowers, and are available in beautiful flowers (available in many colors).
